I am new to your forum. I currently have a Nissan titan that has given me nothing but problems. I will be getting another truck within the next two weeks. I have been looking and reading as many of your post to get a feel on how the duramax is holding up. From what I have been reading, I am impressed. I have one question as of right now. Where are the 2500 series with the duramax made? I know that there will be more questions later but we can get started with this one.
Thanks for the reply. This seems to be a very good forum.

First, welcome to this site. As you have found, there is alot of good information. To answer your question, I know the crew cabs are made in Flint Mich. but I am not exactly sure for the reg & ex. cabs. I am sure they are assembled in Mich also, but I can't remember their exact location.

Good luck with the new truck and if you get a D-Max, you WILL have a perma-grin. These things are awsome! Jason

There are also truck plants in Fort Wayne, IN, and Mexico, possibly others, but not all make 2500 and bigger trucks. If you buy a used truck, check the sticker on the driver door jamb. If you order a new one, ask the salesman where it's coming from.
