Dmax, I disagree about changing all the relays&fuses. The trans problem only appeared to be an elecrical problem. Really the problem was mechanical. The seats and speakers issue are the only electrical problems. I don't believe the fuses even got wet.
I would urge everyone not to slam thier trucks into park. In fact I will treat my shifter rather gingerly.

No need to change fuses and relays. If something's not working, change it... "Don't fix it if it aint broke!" Glad you got that trans fixed and I'm really glad that it runs well for you!!!

If I'm not mistaken, there's only a power and ground going to that seat (maybe in a few sets of wires, but none the less). I'd be poking at that switch some more. Can you hear anything when you push it forward and back, a click maybe? Put a testlight on the wires that go to the forward/back motor and see if it's getting any power. If not, I'd replace the switch. I had one go bad on my 02. Got wet when I left the window open after a night at the bar in college :damnit1: (I think I've gotten smarter since).

Also, the fuse for the amp, I believe is in the standard fuse box. If I remember correctly there are a few fuses for the "radio" feature and some for "acc." I'd probe each side of each fuse with a test light and make sure none of them are blown. On the tops of the fuses, there's a metal piece sticking out, you can probe them while they're still in. It only takes a minute to go through all of them!

:) Good luck man, sounds like you stole a nice truck! Which auction did you pick that one out of?

Tom.

Bought truck at IAAI. I do hear a click when I try to move both front seats. All other functions of the seats work. Is it possible a BCM? That wouldn't control the amp would it? I'll do some probing today....thanks guys.

If you hear a click, my guess is you're going to have power at the motor. Obviously, check that first. If you've got power at the motor and it still wont go - you've got a bad motor. I paid $20 for one at the junkyard, not too difficult to install! :)
