I believe so but not 100%

 

Mine was replaced before it ever left the dealer lot (the sales lady pulled up the rig to deliver it and the 4x4 error came up). There are 20 some computers on our trucks - I am sure they are seperate, where-ever they are.

 

ECM down below the battery and the TCM on the radiator plastic gaurd beside battery.

Yes the one with the spikes that act as heat sinks.
