I left the house yesterday pulling trailer with 2 quads and when I pulled out of the drive way and it shifted from 1st to 2nd the rpms went up like it was slipping before it went into gear. Took it out of t/h and it quit. Once the tranny warmed up it shifted fine in t/h. Anyone else noticed this in cold weather when hauling something.

yes my truck has done this to me a few time and the 1st few time it did this to me thought that my trans was sliping but when it warm up it was fine and i pull my 6000lb trailer daily .I normaly park my truck in a heated garage but the few times that i have had to park outside and it is cold (10mins of idle time before leaveing)and when i get to the street and start to go the first few shift are a lttle slow and if i am giving it a little to much throttle the rpms go up a little bit then the next gear engauges.1to 3 do this
