Can someone tell me what size and type of fuel line I will need for this? I plan to replace the fuel lines from the filter canister to the IP and the T Valve. I think it has to be rated for diesel fuel. If so can you get this hose from a regular parts store?

1/4" hose does the trick. I used Goodyear fuel injection hose from Auto Zone. I'm thinking that if it will handle gasoline, it will handle diesel. Little trick; cut the hose a little bit long and duct tape the new ones to the old ones. Gently pull the new ones with the old ones to get them routed the same way. We are talking low pressure here, not even 10#. Don't need to get high pressure hose. Pretty simple job. Good idea to take the 2 bolts holding the filter off and pulling the filter up to get at the hose clamps. Good time to look at the hose feeding the filter too. 3/8" hose for the feed line.

Another idea is to get a hose connector with the long barbed ends on both side and use a hose clamp on each side to pull new hose behind old hose. either way works well.

I wouldn't use any gas line if I were you? The FI line might be ok but I used lower pressure quality gas rated fuel line and in one year it turned hard as rock! Once a fitting with hose clamp began to seep there was no stopping it. FYI, be picky about your fuel line!
