I have oil leaking from where the intercooler hose hook on the passenger side. Why is this happening? Is this because I need to do a PCV reroute?

It's because you should have done a pcv reroute a long time ago. ;)

I just noticed the same thing on my truck yesterday! looks like I'll be doing the PCV reroute this weekend

It was probably too late in the game for my truck, but I did it anyways when I put the LBZ MP on. I guess any little bit will help.

Anybody with the PCV still venting into the intake will notice this in one way or another, be it while under the hood and noticing gunk around the boots or while sitting on the side of the road after a intercooler boot blows off

Is there any way to clean all that stuff out?

So??? Do I clean this out? or just leve it???

Honesty I didn't clean mine out, but I plan on doing new boost tubes eventually. I wouldn't worry about it, the boots have already been soaked in oil. If you develop a leak/crack clean everything then.

However if you are getting a leak without removing the boots, you should check and see if there is a leak. Maybe one of the hose clamps is not tight enough etc etc. With an airtight seal, you should not be getting oil leaking out. If you are, then you are losing some boost as you have a pressure leak.

I have had mine apart a couple times. The first when I put the new boost tube in. The next couple times when I returned the truck entirely to stock for some warranty work. None of the times was there any oil outside of the boots. A little inside and it was sticky, but none leaking out.

Brake cleaner, a rag, let it dry, and finish with a shot of hairspray right before you put the boot back on.
