IIRC there is no drain on the radiator. Just gonna have to pull a hose off if you wanna drain it.

 

Why do you want to drain the radiator first of all and second yes you have to pull the hose.

 

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to drop the coolant level as to not have coolant all over the top of my engine when i pull the stock turbo off.

it was 05 or 06 if you have a fluid evacuator you can suck the pressure tank down and then pull the bleed out of the t-stat housing and suck some more from there but that only drains the upper hose part way.

X2, or partly pull the bottom hose like evryone else is saying. Going to be messy anyway you look at it but using the evacuator will certainly be the easiest and cleanest.

 

instead of pulling the bottom hose and making a huge mess, i pulled the overflow hose off of the radiator and ran the coolant into a jug. i did not have an evacuator. there was still a little coolant that came out of the lower turbo coolant hose but a rag soaked up most of that.
