don't think u are going to see lots of smoke without getting a crazy program and upgrading your ally. sorry

 

mine smokes so much i would love you just give you some because i cant stand it sometimes, sometimes it is embarrsing. But anyway, if you run a juice and a programmer you will get all the smoke you want. leave the programmer on the lowest stage and then just use the juice on 3 or 4 you will get some smoke. careful of your tranny....

 

TOTHEMAX, does your combo smoke much? at all? with the boost turned down or what?

 

Yo, all you have to do is have EFI live and dump more gas into the engine. Smoke is sick but by adding the fule your truck will go faster! If you do get EFI live be sure to not mess with anything else till you have suped your Ally.

 

smoke, cheap and easy..Simply pour about 5lbs of sand into your air filter and re-install it...Viola! Lots of smoke...

(you won't have much power, by the way)

i run my edge on lvl 3/5 and i can get a good puff if i get on it right off the bat or if im driving and gun it. i've heard of guys running it on lvl1/5 and seeing smoke, other guys get thiers to smoke a lot running it on the same lvl as me?? my truck just doesnt seem to smoke that much. i too would like to smoke out cars from time to time but without stacking another chip i dont think its going to happen. somehow if you could restrict the air going into your motor you would get smoke especially if you had a tuner. but you wouldnt get power you want. ive come to the conclusion that i will have to buy a tranny in the future to get what i want!

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I don't see a solution to your question. To get smoke, you have to add fuel. Everything off the shelf will dump fuel, but make more power too - destroying a stock tranny. So, I can see only 2 other items to look into: (1) You could try to custom tune a program that dumps fuel via EFI live, and I see its on sale now too. Or (2) I wonder if bigger injectors would smoke more w/o adding a lot of power and limping the trans.

Otherwise, its tranny time! I see no way around it unless EFI live is the answer. I bought a $450 module that smokes okay, and a $4300 tranny to handle the power. Of course, I wanted the smoke AND the power.

bullydog doesnt defuel so i dont know how that could be, constant smoke = too much power for stock tranny

some states will write you up for it.. I have seen them impound a oil burner for excessive smoke and they had warned the guy several times and he failed to fix it.. so they fixxed it! took it off the road... Yey I did not have to smell that pos again!

To get lot's of smoke, you'll need lots of power, or efi. That's the only way to get enough smoke to cloud up a four lane highway. Are you getting any clues here?

Try a pressure box like a Duramaximizer. Adds fuel without adding timing or pulse width = smoke (especially when not stacked, I imagine). Also has an infinitely adjustable knob so you can crank it up when desired and turn down when the novelty of paying for all that unburnt fuel wears off.
