Front weight bracket

I'm lookin to make a weight bracket for this summer. Wondering if anyone has pics of their setup i could get an idea from. Thanks

there is a search button that will yield you several designs to ponder over. I'd recommend trying that out. ;)

Check out my garage/avatar and you'll get the most basic set up...
1) 3" sq tube (2 pieces of course), notched to clear the round bar behind where the tow hook used to be.
2) 4" x 5" or 6" angle.

Don't forget that most rules have a max length of 60" from the center line of the front axle. That includes the hanging weight. Good luck!

My IH weights hang inside. Diamond plate doors open up and drop in from the top. Then you can use lead or tractor weights. Drives on and off the trailer with the go cart wheels mounted on the bottom.

So does it matter how high you have the weight? I know that the standard rule is 60'' from center of wheel to farthest point forward- is there any other rules to consider? THANKS Steven

Lower is better. But you need to take clearance into account also for pulling on to the scales. They get a little pissed off when you smash into the scale with your weights.
