I just got home from 6h solid in my L5P HC -I can tell you the HC seats are FAR better than my Denali seats were. My Wife was with me on this trip, and she commented on it about 4 hours in on the way up, said she didn't feel like she needed to get up, she was comfy and these seats were amazing.

I'm totally with you on this Coolbreeze the HC seats are way better than the Denali seats.

I'm a fan of the Saddle also, looks fantastic in person - photos show it as reddish and it's not.

What's better about them?

Padding? Material? Shape?

You would think "Denali" being what it is, would have the best seats.

Yes. better padding, the leather is softer, and the shape is pretty much the same, looking - it's when you SIT that it makes a difference.

No edit ability? WTF? how do you fix spelling errors? "seem" should be "seam".
There's a twenty minute time window to edit posts. You should be able to correct any spelling errors by clicking "edit" at the bottom of any new post.

Very interesting. I guess now the only thing the Denali has over the High Country (still subjective) is the digital gauge cluster.
Get a Denali to display voltage and Trans temp at the same time. - you cant without an aftermarket part.

I like the look of, but not the function of the digital dash. I do not miss it one bit in the new HC.

Wait.. what? you can't display both Alternator voltage and Transmission temp at the same time? I am confused.

Can someone please show pic of GMC cluster

I have a 2017 3500 HC dually on hold right now. It is about 2500.00 more than the Denali Dually that I found at Kendall, but Kendall didn't have the factory installed gooseneck prep. No one would guarantee discounts on an ordered truck, and for the two options I wanted, it wasn't worth the increase in cost. I am going with my local dealer on this one as long as my wife likes it when I send her to test drive it this week. My knee on my broken ankle leg is jacked up, so I can't even drive right now. I really like the leather seats in the new 2017 Tahoe I just bought for my wife, so as long as the HC are at least that good, all will be great. She has to be happy riding shotgun.

I don't believe anyone has mentioned that the Denali has HID headlights (all GMC 2500s do) whereas the HC has regular halogen. Also you can order Z71 suspension on the Denali (albeit without any exterior badging) but it is not available on the HC. If the Hill Descent Control that's part of the Z71 package is important to you, then Denali or a lower trim level Chevy are your only choices.

Where would it be then? I'm guessing in the center screen? Obviously it can't be on the HC gages since they are analog. Can it be a gage on Denali?

In the center screen somewhere. It may appear in different locations depending on the model. On the GMC, the four round gages at the top of the center display are just digital images of gages, so it would be easy for one of them to change. I don't have mine yet otherwise I'd go out and check.
