i have a 1212 david brown tractor over here that belongs to the neighbor. he figures the clutch was hatched but after i drove it around i noticed smoke coming out of the case that the steering coloumn goes into. the powershift part slips in 1st really bad and works better in 2nd and when you shift into 3rd or 4th the engine powers right down and the tires lock up for a second. so whats wrong with it and is it easily fixed without splitting the tractor or does the tractor need to be split?
