I put BFG All-terrains on my pickup when i bought it and calibrated the speedometer with my stealth 2. I used 32.75" for the tire height @ 60psi based on what BFGs website said. Yesterday i had my dealer change my TPMS warning to come on at 40psi all the way around. I then let air out; 55 in front and 50 in the rear. When i measure on my driveway the tire height is now 31.25" Does that sound right? what do you guys use for a measurement with these size tires? I don't have a hand-held GPS to check my speed. Thanks

Anybody? I was hoping that someone who did verify their speed with gps that could tell me what measurement they used to calibrate the speedo....

When I had the predator installed, I used 285/75/16. Also, when I had the edge, I went according to the manual, and it was right on. I also verified with gps. Did you check the diameter before you let the air out? I can't imagine it would drop that much with only 5 or 10 lbs. difference. Jerry.

I didn't measure before, i just went off the bfgoodrich website that said that tire height was 32.8" for 285/70r17. That might be the height of a bare tire but when the weight of the vehicle is on it, squats down a little. With the stealth 2 you enter the height of the tire in inches.
