Best place to mount an amp?

Any suggestions on the best place to mount an amp in a crew cab? I'm thinking behind the rear seat on the wall but would like to hear from those that have "been there, done that".

Also, how difficult is it to tap into the head unit to access the wires to run back to the amp? Are there any step by step instructions or pictures on DP?

In order to be able to fold your rear seats flat your sub(s) need to go behind the back seat on the wall; therefore, I'd recommend putting your amp(s) under the back seat on the drivers side.
That's where my stuff is because I was not willing to sacrifice the utility of the rear seats folding flat.
Obviously if you're only mounting an amp and no subs then behind the rear seat would work just fine.
Can't advize on the factory head unit as I'm all aftermarket.
:ro) Enjoy! Just decide what's important to you...biggest boxes or rear seat functionality.

Ya the back wall or maybe the console if it's small enough.
