Hello - new to the forum.. I am in the process of selecting some wheels and tires for my leveled 2500HD. I am thinking about 18x9 Eagle 079's and 33x12.50 R18's Toyo Open Country M/T's.. My question is, are the 33x12.5s' a true 33" dia on these wheels? Reason I ask, is I currently have 285x75r16 BFG's on my truck, which should be 32.830 theoretically, but only measure about 31-1/2" max.? Appreciate any info or real world numbers. Thanks! Jason.

My 33x12.50-18 Toyo M/T's are mounted on 18x9 wheels and as they sit in my living room, they are around 32 5/8" tall....If I had my tire gage that we have at work, I could give an exact measurement!

i had the toyo in that size before, they are suppose to be true to their size but if i remember right mine were around 32.5. If you dont mind a bit of road noise try the multi mile wild country mtz, thats what i just got and like them as much or more than the toyo's, and about 100 bucks a tire cheaper

don't measure the height of the tire to get diameter. You need to measure circumference, or just take the tire specs and trust them. the tires roll, and the compression that is in them will mess up your measurement (height) if you aren't accounting for that by measuring the diameter with the tire up off the ground.
