Proformance Diesel used to produce a relocation kit but they are no longer in business.
No other kits I am aware of..

 

Yes I saw that site and also that they were gone. Disappointing. Hopefully someone else will step up.

 

The tank does hang really low. That’s why I kept my 2003 HD 6.0 gasser. I use it where I am going to be pulling things off road. The 2019 is for pulling stuff on the highway.

redwngr thanks for your post. I will keep looking for a solution as I plan to remove existing side steps and install AMP powersteps.

 

Is the tank in the way of the AMPs? I am planning on getting some soon.

 

Don't they have a kit that works with the def tank in place?

For sure there are fixed steps that work with - and kinda hide - the tank.

 

I don't think there is a fit issue with the AMP's but the problem is the DEF tank will stick out like a sore thumb. It is partially hidden by the existing stock side steps but will be completely exposed with the AMP's.

I was thinking it currently had no steps.

Tank visibility has been a complaint since 2011.

 

The DEF tank compatible Amp Steps "hide" the tank about as much as the factory fixed steps because the step is tilted at an angle when they retract so you see the Amp step "sideways". They don't tuck up nice and inconspicuous like the gasser steps do. A waste of money for the Amp steps when keeping the DEF tank imo.

 

Very disappointed in the way the amp steps look on the new 2017-2019 trucks.. Amp should be ashamed of themselves for putting out a product that looks like that compared to the old style I bought them and never put them on they look so bad.
I Believe they could’ve done something so much better.

 

Not my Denali, but I spotted this truck today at Costco. DEF tank is very obvious even with a set of power steps installed.

 

I also would love to see a relocation kit that works.. love the truck the def tank and fill is a pain in the ass.

 

I'm with you. Does anyone have the documents for the DEF Relocation Kit that Performance Diesel offered before going dormant? It can't be brain surgery and someone should be able to create a kit to do so.

I like that the DEF tank has been removed but I wonder if they offer alternate locations under the bed. Installation in a tool box is almost as bad as the original location.

You would have to crawl under the bed and figure out a location and fabricate your own kit

 

There easy to relocate. I put mine in the trash where it belongs.

EVS Performance provided this custom L5P DEF Tank Kit. Looks great! It is mounted under the passenger side bed so it does not compromise bed space. Retains factory fill location. Does not require you to remove your spare tire. Capacity 5.5 gallons. Looks nice but they can't be reached?!?

 

Probably got shut down by the Government for altering the factory emissions system equipment..

The Federal Government does not want anyone to alter/attempt to alter the factory equipment platform.
