1996 4x4 GMC 1500 6.5 TD Suburban 241,000 miles 8 lug wheels
This Suburban has a few issues and I'm not sure how fast I will get them fixed.
It needs tires.
It has a fishbite and/or dieing issue which is undiagnosed. possibilities include - fuel cap - it was changed with an aftermarket that appeared to be for a gasser, ignition switch, PMD/FSD mounted on a heat sink off the manifold, oil pressure switch.
The suburban is losing brake fluid slowly. Not fast enough that I could pump it out and see where it was going right off. I still haven't looked at anything on the vehicle. I'm just now getting back going again and I have a gazillion things to do. Including getting back to work.
The radio does not work. I believe it is the speaker wires right behind the radio - easy access.
The Suburban has several new items.
Starter,
Dorman lifetime warranty PMD,
Batteries - Nascar Select dual post I think - that is what I use for most of my vehicles,
fuel filter
lift pump,
Bilstien shocks,
timing chain, gears & Fluidamper.
Fresh oil change with Amsoil 5w30 Diesel oil & Amsoil bypass filter.
Remote spin on transmission filter.
The glow plugs and injectors were done the same time as the timing chain.
New air filter
new oil in front differential
I think the engine oil cooler lines were also changed recently
If anybody is interested I will get pictures
My daughter wants a mini van or possibly a full size depending on the price. This has been her daily driver.
I might also take other items in trade
