- You can tell the difference in sound between the 6.5 and the 6.2.


- You're in the habit of checking 1990's era GM light trucks for "bumper nostrils".

John... even though I drive a Dmax now... I still find myself watching and listening.

after determining that it is a 6.5, i check out the tail pipe,,,see if it has any add ons

I have account whith Chiropractor for whiplash looking for bumper holes , instead of "train spotting" I 6.5 TD spot, also in habit of looking for under bumper IC's. To your list you forgot to add actually knowing what acronyms PMD/FSD are and how much like PMS they are in these trucks.Edited by: Turbine Doc

You can tell by the sound whether or not the "cat" is gutted.....
