I just got through putting my Cognito pitman & idler arm braces on my truck and all I can say is wow. My truck drives good and run smooths, both arms show no where but I still decided to install the braces and now its a different truck. I thought the truck was good before but now it feels tight & solid like a new truck should when I go over a large curb or down a bumpy road it has no jiggle in the front end. I just want to say thanks to all that have recomended them. I am now a beleiver, so for those of you that think your truck drives good and you dont need them, think again.

I too was really pleased with the improvement the cognito braces made to the steering response. Next you should try the Bilstein shocks. The improvement was equally impressive. Following these two mods the truck actually feels nimble.

Same here. I put the Cognito braces on when I replaced the pitman and idler arms last week (at 50k miles), and it is truly a world of difference.

a little over 19,500 miles the funny thing is the steering felt pretty good to me except when I would go over a curb or speed bumps or a very rough road, it had a shimmy or left to right jiggle in the front suspension when I went over areas like this. I didnt thin anything of it since every 06 dmax I drove did this and it was not bad too me, but now the steering is tight and solid feeling llike it should be. I think I will be putting the bilstein shocks on soon but I have to order my tranny next month so stock shocks will have to do for now
