News flash !!!!!!

Who says our fuel system is a total vacum system without a pump and the HP common rail does all the drawing of fuel ??

"* The fuel is drawn from the tank by the low-pressure pump through the Electronic Driver Unit (EDU)."

When did I miss that tid-bit ??

The New Bosch Common Rail Fuel Injection System.

Who's getting a EDU to dissect ??

MAC... that is the gear rotor pump inside the HP pump. You can't do anything inside there.

Like Hoot says, the low pressure pump is within the HP pump assembly. Think of it as two pumps in one. I seem to remember the LP pump delivering about 150 psi to the HP pump.

I think it's about 20. At least that's what it said in an article I read.
