My wipers act like they are on crack. They dont sweep smoothly, but tend to ratchet, or jump across the glass. New blades make no difference.

I am sure that the bushing and whatnot in the linkage are worn out, but I cant figure out how to access them.

How do I get to the linkage?

Remove the cowl piece, 2 small pieces on each side and black plastic across front of windshield... Most likely your linkage is worn.. Picked up a new(used ) complete linkage from a gasser for $15.00 at the wrecker. Big difference. We get lots "o" rain up here..

The thing that sucks is that GM, or anyone for that matter, doesn't sell just the bushings. You have to buy the whold transmission assembly. It's not that bad of a job to replace though.
