Had to ask this since its a lot colder here in michigan (-9 this am) than the past few years and this is my first really cold winter with a diesel .

Do I switch over now to the winterized fuel ?

Do I add more lube to the fuel the addative for the IP ?

A little help before I get stranded at work or a long trip .

I use the reg diesel at speedway but at the next stop its a place where big rigs get diesel and they have winterized diesel #2

Thanks:)

I'm going to say that the fuel you buy at the Speedway is probably the same stuff as you would get at the other place. Most gas stations do change their fuel in the winter.

I usually add some antigel when it gets as cold as this... Lately I've been using very heavy doses... It is definitely cold outside...
