I installed my winter covers, both the grill and bumper covers. My friend has a 04 LLY and claims that the covers caused his turbo to over heat. I was wondering if any one out there has a EGT gauge and has seen an increase in temperature due to the winter covers? If so is it both covers or is it reduced by removing one of the covers? Thanks.

No real change in EGT's...and the tranny ran a little warm until I got Mike L's cooler.

I run a Lund Cold Front cover, and have noticed no increase in EGTs.

I use the grill winter cover. No problems with an increase of EGT's.
