Why does the H2 Sound so much better than my LT3 Bose Silverado?

H2s have Lux bose, your truck has premium.

I'll bet she bought a 2003 or early 2004 H2, didn't she? The 2003-early 2004 H2's had the LUX Bose system, which has a better amp than our trucks. Its the same Bose system that all the 2003-up Escalades and Denalis have. The late-2004 to 2007 H2s all have the same junky "Premium" Bose system that our trucks do.

There is a fix, though.....go into the DIY forum and look at the "Shebang" thread. You can't miss it...its the 2000lb elephant in that area.

Yeah I think it's a 2003. Question though....it sounds like it has a subwoofer. I mean it's really that much louder in the low end. Is that part of the Lux System?

Same speaker setup BUT with the lux amp & headunit.

The Bose Premium sound in our trucks does have a sub woofer in the console.

You can upgrade yours to a lux setup as well. All you need is a lux bose amp and a headunit reprogram from a tech 2.
