last night I thought I'd show this dodge some black smoke, I ended up snapping the bolt that holds the tierod balljoint in place... embarrassing!!! luckily at 8:45 I was able to track down a quick fix from Checker/Kragan so I could drive home. Now, at this pt what is my options as far as upgrades for the tierods? BTW, I just bought and installed the sleeves a month ago...

Have you used the cognito tie rod kit with the CST lift? I am interested in the tie rods but have been told not to use them and that CST is coming out with a set soon

We have used and sold them to CST trucks.... FYI.. I did need to modify the center link mount, not hard to do.

This is truck #32 on NorCalTruck.com Chevy gallery....

Are these a 4wd only part, or can they be used on a 2wd? I've been looking for an upgrade. Any noise from these, I've had Heims before and they rattled like hell in suspension pieces.

2wd HD's are the same as 4wd HD's. You can use them on a 2wd. They really don't make alot of noise.

I just installed a set on MAX4X4's truck... maybe he can chim back in on this one.

I take it these things will fit on a RCD lift as well, right? I have read a few threads on these. Now is this the only upgrade needed for the front end? Thanks

The only reason why you could not use them on any lift is if you didn't have anuff Clarence between sway and tie rod bar. Other than that the mount to the center link may need to be modified to fit a after market drop center link. I have ran into that before..
