f-350 won't start. glow plug relay? 99K miles. just cranks and I'm getting cranky. anyway to test the relay?... and- what the heck is a shunt relay and does it have anything to do with the glow plug relay?
Make sure your #9 fuse is not burnt out, and if your GPR is bad, you will get white fog out the exhaust. If your tach is not moving when you crank the engine it is your cps sensor. The part number for your GPS is a GPR109 from napa, the poles mounted 90 degrees off, but stil workable, cost 20 bucks instead of fords 100. Cps, get from an international dealer, half the price from ford, same exact part. You can hold a screwdriver across the two BIG ends of the gpor for ten seconds while your buddy holds ignition placed to "on", then after ten give hiom signal for start. That is easiest way to test GPR.
