I live in Texas, it's been about 29 degrees at the coldes in the past week. When do I need to use high idle? How cold is too cold to start it up and take off? Do I need to let it idle to warm up first, I have heard people both ways saying it's good to let it idle and people saying it's bad to let it idle? Give me your opinion...

I leave mine on all year. If it's cold enough it will activate, if not, It's business as usual.
