I recently got a '04 Chevy HD 4x4 and love it. Problem is the wheel and tire package I'm dealt with is awful. 245's??? I'm just wantin to get some varying opinions on the maximum wheel and tire combo with only a t-bar crank and no lift. I would love to get some 305's on 16x10's. Am I dreamin or is the best I can get 285's on like 16x8's??

305's on 16X10s, with just a tbar lift, yea, you are dreaming. That would rub I am sure. I had eagle alloys 16X8 with 265/75R16, and they rubbed even with the Tbars up, or down. They rubbed when you turned in reverse. I had to trim the lower valance some to get them to stop. I am not sure what offset they had, but I know that they stuck out alot further than the stockers. They threw mud and crap all over the side of the truck. They looked good, but didn't really perform that good, so I got rid of them and live with the stock wheels.
