just got my 6inch fabtech lift done on my 06 gmc 2500 and dont like how far my wheels stick out in the front. wanted to know how much i would gain if i switch the wheels

the ones i have are
18X9.5 4 5/8 back space with -14 offset

the ones i am thinking about getting
18X8.5 with 5 1/4 back space and + 12 offset

some with some wheel knowledge please let me know how much it would set the wheels farther in the fenders if i switched.

thanks

I just ordered some 18x9" wheels with 5.5" back space, I'll take some pics after I receive them. Not sure if wheels sticking out gets affected by a lift, but mine is stock height.

some lifts will make your track width increase.

The outer bead of the rim would be 1 5/8" further in with the new wheels. The inner bead would be 5/8" further inboard.

Go with the +12 offset, you will be happier. That is what I ended up doing. You will be better off with the narrow rim.
