:help: I have a 2002 2500HD,, I had eagle 16X9 wheels and just bought some new Motometal 16X9 just to change the look.. In doing so I found out my front passenger side wheel bearing assembly was completely shot. It ate a little of my new rim away, cause it was hitting the A-arm assembly. So I placed a 1/4 inch spacer untill I fixed the bearing. Well I had the bearing replaced and the mechanic placed the 1/4 spacer back, he said without it, it could possibly still strike the A-arm.. the Driver side is ok with out a spacer... is this uncommon or what....? and do u think it will be ok to have a spacer on one side and not the other..

i dont see any reason your truck should need a spacer because of the new rims so i think it is uncommon because i have never seen or heard of that before
