Does anybody have any info on what the max tire size that can be installed on a 2006 2WD 4500 with a Monroe conversion? (8 foot bed) I want to run 22.5" rims. I already testfit a set of 275/80/22.5 Michilins in the front and that was ok. Then I tried to fit a set of 445/80/22.5" Michilin XD1 singles in the rear and had fenderwell clearance problems. These tires will work on the 4WD but not the 2WD. I will go back to duals, but I want to install the largest tire possible without clearance issues. I think a 255/70/22.5" Michilin XD2 will fit but I am not sure. Has anyone installed this size tire or something similar?
