Im not trying to make big power but for a daily driver that will get a predator on 85HP setting whats the diffrence between buying a turbo back 4" exhaust or just replacing the muffler with a better flowing one? I dont have a cat to start with. there cant be that big diffrence between a stock 3.5" exhaust compared to a 4" exhaust or am i just missing something? Does anyone make mufflers that bolt in?

Buying a muffler, if available, versus buying a system often times the benefit of the system will win. Once you have bought a muffler and had a muffler shop weld it on or even clamp it on, you could have spent a little more and had yourself an entire system. You are right about the power in muffler replacement and complete system not being that great. The largest difference will come in EGT loss, especially now that you are running a programmer. Even though you dont have a cat, you still have the four bolt flange after the front pipe, to save money you could buy a four bolt flange back system and still have significant loss in EGT's, any questions about all of this please call.
