What's a Semi weigh?

Curious as to what one with a standard cab/sleeper wieghs. I know in the states these are limited to 80,000 lbs for the typical driver, just wondering how much of that is truck?

14 - 16 K tractor is typical.

I have a double frame FLD120 tractor with the Dump trailer 34K

I'd say more like 15-19k for tractor, the big sleepers add weight.
Trailers are 9-15k depending on style.
When I ran semis the dumps could haul over 25 ton and the flatbed/coverwagons closer to 26 ton.

Brought my '90 Kenworth T - 800 Aerodyne in @ 16,050, steel frame, 300 gal tanks etc....

45,000# in the Box, 48' Trailmobile.

80,000# gross.

my FLD120 is 17k with a 2067 aulick dump box

day cab mack with a wetline 17k, everything is heavy on mine cause i use it to haul equipment. trailer another 18k and i carry bout 1000-1500 in chains and binders, total weight 36100 truck trailer and fluids, unladen. 35 ton capacity with permit.
