At my local co-op where I buy all my fuel for my business, I filled up my DMAX for the first time today. There were two choices, one was a Blended Fuel that was $2.59. The other was just "Diesel" and that was 2.49. I used blended, but as I was leaving I saw another truck pull up and start filling with just "Diesel"

Any suggestions?

blended should be winter blend(green color) 10-20% #1(kerosene) lowers gel point of fuel, diesel should be #2, maybe premium(higher cetane rating) semi's run for mileage and performance. constant running everything stays warm enough to not worry about gelling, normally.

I wonder if 'blended' means biodiesel? Especially seeing as how it was more expensive.

No, its not Bio Diesel. I know that for a fact. I'm just wondering if I can use the regular diesel, since its cheaper.

I go with diesel, screw winter blend, it tends to give you lower mpg anyway.
