Where ?? Where ever you can find the best deal ....
Privately is nice if the guy is truthful with maintenance ... See if he used additives and what type .... Make sure non alcohol brand .... Try and find out as much info as you can on maintenance , Dealer or private .... Depending on mileage certain things should have been done .... Use carfax reports ...
Cosmetics and tires are the same gas or diesel ... Your prolly better off with a 02 or later ...
See what their using for an oil filter, make sure oil
s not an el'cheap'o ..... Make sure the tranny is dry and above the case on the floor board ..... Stay away from mod'ed trucks, not worth the risk .... I know I know hypocrite comes to mind ..... Gauges, larger exhaust .... Look for EGT ports in manifold or downpipe ... Look for out of place wiring ...
Your the one that wants to enhance from the get go new or used ...
Consider an extended warranty ....
It is a buyers market right now in the used vehicle purchase, now is the time .....
