I recently bought an 07 Dmax and I noticed the tailgate on my 07 only has Silverado badge at the bottom left. When did they do away with the Chevrolet badge at the bottom right of the tailgate?

well seeing that I'm here what else is different from the 2006's and the 2007's

I just happened be at a used Chev dealer and noticed the 06's didn't have the Chevrolet badge, didn't see any 05's but your probably right.

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 06 and 07's?

There are some differences in the frame. Heads up for anyone installing a plow on the 07's... the 06 brackets will need a little attention to get them to fit. The tow hook reciever area has more frame folded over than the previous years. As for the "Chevrolet" being MIA... my 06 never had one either
