new ops (acdelco) bypassed anyway key on pump on
new lift pump
new fuel filter
had vac in the fuel tank running with no cap made no difference
good flow out of t handle

haven't added clear fuel line or dropped the tank to pull the sock yet

it'll do the same thing in park or neutral

no codes, scan tool live data only thing that stood out was the fuel rate would go high with the low power condition

Fuel tank sock?
Did you measure the fuel pressure? You may need to put fuel pressure gauge on the fuel drain t-valve.
The scanner in this truck is useles, there is no sensor available for scanner to read.

fuel gauge is setup on top of filter bleed valve tried to get it in vid psi is 10 at startup, 4-5 at idle and it runs like crap under any accel unless the fuel pressure drops to 0-1 psi

was looking at fuel usage and not sure how the ecu calculates it but when it shudders it drops to 0 for a second and when it won't accelerate the fuel consumption is showing in the 60's where on a good accel it would still be in the 30's

You got the answer.

The question is why is it going to 0 at acceleration?
What LP did you install?
The best stock LP for this truck comes out of the 1993 model year, ACDelco EP158 or equivalent.
If you install the one specified for 2000, it is not good so is the one for 1995, etc.

Put the clear line on the return line to verify there is no air in fuel.

0 under good accel, 5psi and it wont accel that's the weird part, the hicup is when you let off throttle when it was at ok fuel pressure and it had no power while trying to accel, bogs down like its over fueling but no smoke

LP is stock 93 acdelco

fuel sock was in decent shape was grey stock sock very little debris easily blow through from the sender, going to pull the FFM and blow back through the lines with the air compressor

If you're talking about the top of the sender, it is common to seal it with wax to protect the metal from moisture/debris

Have you load (not voltage) tested the batteries one at a time?
Check all the grounds as OkD usually suggested?

think i have a spare toilet ring lying around for the wax.
i have not but there both new, costco bats, just did the IP so all the grounds are clean, and the starter, still have to unhook all the fuel lines and blow back through them, then pull them from the IP and blow through them.
really hope I find something definitive

For that fuel filter in the picture, you need a better LP?

nevermind still stuttering, fires up idles till you give it throttle then it surges again.....gah
no fuel sock, lift pump pre filter
think I'm gonna plug the lines at the tank and pressurize the system, has to be a air leak

Did you take the FFM out and see what is going on?

Just read through the thread... certainly seems like a mechanical problem. FFM should be taken out, torn down and cleaned. The bottom can silt up to an amazing degree. Be sure to have an oring for the heater on hand as they are not the garden variety. I have made due with something I found in the wild but the OEM would be a wise choice.

Yes pulled the ffm and cleaned pulled the last ditch screen wasn't dirty
Didn't notice any cracks
Going to pull the upper intake and the fuel lines off the ip and back pressure the fuel lines with the air compressor till I find the dam leak

Pulled all the lines on the top of motor replaced with clear pvc
No bubbles after bleeding from top of ffm and t valve
still runs like crap u can pull the coolant sensor and it'll idle up and stop surging but still no power and it bucks when stopped due to that surging
