Reading back through some old posts, i see that some of you guys have put wheel weights on the backside of your mirrors. Im looking for some pics of this...Seeing as how the replacement mirror, the dealer put on yesterday isl oose and vibrates as much as the original
Also how did you go about disassemblying them, since its a pretty tight fit between the mirror and plastic covering.

Ummm it seems like a self explanatory thing. Adding wheel weights to your mirror? Just move the mirror to one side and take a wheel weight with some 3m tape on it and put it on the housing.

Not sure which mirror you have but you can pop off your mirror with a screw driver. My friend works at the dealer and had to take mine off. The new mirror came with a plastic tool that was a small wedge you could pry the mirror off with. I still wouldnt recommend taking off the mirror unless you cant avoid it.

Sticky wheel weights might be easier and more long lasting then the 3m tape????

Im watching this topic as my new drivers mirror also has vibration and it was jsut replaced.
