Has anyone replaced this pipe? Mine is leaking, have a new one coming. I'm wondering if you have to pull the T-stat housing to replace the pipe or if it will come out of the housing if left attached. The only difference being that I'll have to get a housing gasket if I must pull it.

just did one this evening. You are going to have to pull the P/s pump, a/c comp and the bracket that they attach to.
then you can pull the t-stat housing loose from the front of the head and pull the tube up out of the water pump.
Or alternately pull water pump (requires removing crank pulley) and pull tube down out of t-stat housing.
not a hard job, but time consuming.
