I just bought an '02 Duramax, The dealership told me that I was not eligible for an ext. warranty. Does the original warranty transfer over (100000mi engine/200000mi fuel inj.), or If my injectors go bad again, am I SOL?

The dealer dosent even know the warranty.

Well just to say a few things. I have had a knock sound. I took it to 3 dealers, and they could not find it. Well a buddy and I found it. It was a crack in the manifold, and a split pipe in the exhaust. If the techs cant hook up a friggin computer and have it tell them whats wrong, then they are useless anymore. Darn people. What happened to real mechanics who could diagnose problems. Plus they have no clue as to warranty, or even codes sometimes.

With that said, THANK GOD FOR THE DIESEL PLACE.COM!!!!!!!!!!:exactly: :ro)

Yes the 100K Engine warranty and the 200k Injector warranty both transfer. I would take the banks off before you take it in for any warranty work though
