There has been a lot of talk lately about who sells the WAP 'quick heat' glow plugs....

The ones I have installed in my truck were bought from indusa....

Here is a link to WAP's webpage indicating who sells their plugs...you will notice that SS Diesel makes the list...

I had the WAP fast heats that I bought from SSDiesel. I put them in last year. They worked great... for 4 months. Then, one after another, 6 out of the 8 burned out.

I replaced them with Delco 60G's, and one year later, all 8 are still working great.

I never sent the bad WAP's back to SSDiesel for warranty replacement, but probably should have. At the time, there was no replacement limit for the WAP's. Interesting that he implemented a replacement cap of 2 per set. I don't think he would have implemented that cap unless he was seeing a high return rate on them. Walt was saying it was probably my glow plug controller that was prematurely burning them out. I would agree with him if my 60G's burnt out too, but they haven't.

Needless to say, I'm not a big proponent of the WAP's. Looks like I'm not the only one.
