Anyone know how much vacuum the stock system on an LLY creates?

Normal vacuum at idle with a new fuel filter is right around 2" Hg (or close to 30" water as Brayden said). At 10" Hg you will definitely have a loss in power capability.

Anyone ever put a clear line on the inlet to the pump and watched the champagne bubbles? The vacuum "boils" the fuel and gas escapes. Makes one want to run a lift pump.

I think on a stock truck with a clean filter you might see 5 HG at wide open throttle. There are some here that have the actual numbers. Later! Frank
