Changing my NSBU on my 01, while taking the pinch nut off, the shifter cable rotated all the way rearward. Good thing is the nut come off, new switch is back on.

BAD, rotating the elbow (connects to the NSBU) does nothing to the cable line, and moving the shifter on the panel does nothing, it just moves freely. Did I bind it up somewhere? I can not get it back in neutral to reinstall the cable!

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks ahead of time,
Adam

I have a feeling the shifter moves freely, b/c it's not hooked to the tranny, but I figured there should be some tension.

There's no one around to look under while I move it, but if I move it close to Neutral it should work right? Maybe tie it to the steering wheel?
