Actually I pic my username before I had settled on a motor, I was looking real hard at CPC 1150, but they use forged pistons and the breaking times is very length and well as the cross border issues. Instead I settled on a Engine Tech 1160 BB twin out of ONT. Canada. ( I'm in NB Canada) Art Sever casts his own pistons( 98mm) and CNC the final shape, He also uses steel sleeves, so if you blow it up is a less expensive fix. With any BB 2 stroke, if you get some bad fuel, detonation is bad!
Any way the Powers that Be, were able to help me out with the false advertising...lol..Hopefully next year it will be ZR1740 if I add an extra cylinder, don't know if that will fly though, it's a lot easier changing a 5 to a 6, then all the #'s
if you look in the my "garage" there are some pics.
