When I floor my truck from a dead start it lags really, really bad. I know there is supposed to be some lag, but I thought someone said there is a safety feature on the transmission that when you do stomp it from a dead stop, it will not deliver all of the fuel so it wont wear on the transmission, is there anyway I can make it quit doing that so i can get a lot more power off the line?

Laggggggggggggggggggg

Yup, I have the same thing with my 05'. My 04' would just just about smoke the tires but this one leaves alot to be desired off the line. I think you are probably right with your assumption. Dealer told me that there was a reflash for that and I had it done but, not much change.... I think we are on the brink of getting a progammer?????????

it is derated in 1st and 5th gear to 300hp and 520lb ft of torque, also some power breaking will help spool the turbo up, or you can just roll into the throttle and get better results
