It's not a dummy valve. What we are doing is unplugging the main mod solenoid which controls line pressure and plugging in another identical solenoid into the harness. This will raise line pressure to a constant 250 psi and satisfy the TCM which will be firing the dummy solenoid and not set off a CEL.
Just had the EPC fooler installed on my 16 2500. My trans temp did in fact go up drastically. Where do you recommend putting your trans fluid at 200 degrees? I attached a picture of my fluid level (in red) at 200 level & truck running. I hit 200 dry (not pulling) which I know is not alarming but I do have a RV & do not want to push my limits temp wise. Any help would be much appreciated.

@Mike L.
I've been reading thru some forums and I'm sure what you wrote is clear I just want to clarify, to max out line pressure all I need to do is unplug the line pressure solenoid and plug in another solenoid and basically leave it hanging? Also, I have the efi live and I'm pulling a 42ft camper, )wife is a Travel Nurse so we tow cross country) do you think this will benefit the transmission? I appreciate any information. Again, thanks in advance, Gary

Well it plugs into where the old solenoid is and the old one plugs into the back of it and is connected. You'd have to make sure you have no tcm tuning as your not supposed to run both.
