I am looking at installing a Transgo here in a few months. All of the sellers on Ebay have in the description (which it appears to be off of Transgo's website) that the kit sets trouble codes? Is this true and what do you do about getting the codes fixed?

Transgo/converter will fix the limp mode/code. Transgo does'nt create codes.

I'd buy the kit from one of the tranny guys on here, Eric Merchant or Mike L. Worth every extra penny to have a knowledgeable guy on the phone when it counts.

your only talking $75 bucks difference, and like rob said either of those two will help you through the entire project. You really can't say enough about there customer service.

That sounds like the ticket then. I am fairly good at mechanic stuff, I installed a transgo in my Z71 but I know the Allison is a lot more complicated than a 4l60e. When I do it, I know who to contact.
