The trans fluid does not go into the transfer case. There is a seal on the input shaft of the transfer case that prevents it. I have seen this seal fail causing the transmission to lose fluid and the transfer case to leak. So, if you transmission is low and there are no leaks, check the transfer case level.
thanks gmcsid thats what i thought but was not sure about the ally i know i 700s 480s but not the ally just left dealer and no fulid in transfercase drove about 80 miles home thought i heard something boy are they going to like to see me monday moring this dealer is a jokei whent in with a trans leak now my trans goes in limp when i hit it hard transfercase no fulid. 3500 miles on truck they better find me a red d/a lt
