I'm using Mobile Synthetic ATF, some are using a Synthetic 5/30 motor oil and then you can also use Dex III.

Dex III compatible. I changed my tranny to transynd synthetic and with the remaining transynd, I changed my transfer case to the same synthetic.

Mobil 1 also makes a good synthetic. Lots of opinions on what's "best" (Amsoil, transynd, Mobil 1, etc). Whatever you decide on, go with a synthetic.

No AMSOIL Product Recommendation
11. SLF is GM part no. 12378508 (U.S.), 10953626 (CAN). This is the Auto-Trak II fluids that's in all the newer T cases. People are using the motor oil in these.

I went with the Amsoil Torque drive in the ZF6 and t-case. Trans shifts a little smoother...

I have an 03. Just saw Mike L today actually. Had him install my transfer case pump upgrade kit and filled it with AMSOIL 5/30 motor oil. I went putting around in 4WD w/ no probs. I'll keep everyone updated
