okay guys my trans is leaking looks to be coming from the bell housing this is my question i do want to upgrade so what should i do i probaly wont go much over 500hp so what should i do?i heard that you could go with stock clutches and go with trans go kit and convertor?help guys i dont want to take this out again has 62500 on her now.

Since it's coming out and the cover needs to come off I would do a Transgo Kit, Modify the Pressure Regulator, Triple converter and replace any clutches that were found to be bad and call it a day. We have see the OEM clutches hold up just as well as any of the aftermarket clutches so it's your choice there.

thanks diesel tech alright its leaking pretty good i just put 3 qts in her now so i know i will be taking the trans out when i get to the shop monday i need all opinions please i need to order this asap my trans tech said he would help do it are allisions mush more difficult than other trans i am going to get a manuel also to help thanks for any more help guys.

I have seen a couple of front seal ( converter seal ) failures lately for no reason at all. It would be a good idea to replace the front seal and o ring and the pump bolt o rings at the same time. Time to upgrade converter at this time as you cannot trust the old one. You might want to go all the way while it's out. The Alli is no harder than any other trans except it's bigger and heavier. It's also a b!tch to diagnose sometimes. I have all the parts in case you need them.
