I reinstalled the Juice after driving the truck stock for a week. Took it off for a dealer visit to replace glow module. Also put in EGR blocker plate, FS, BS new air filter, changed oil and filter,new fuel filter, new tranny spin on filter and topped tranny off w/Smart Blend SUV treatment.
Tranny training session starts off in lower power levels and work my way up. In the process of teaching it by repeated hard acceleration runs, it flares between shifts where the RPM's jump up before it grabs the next gear. Is this doing any damage?
32000 miles with E/A on L4, putting up with occasional flared shifts, never so hard on it that tranny limped. The other day Edge L2 w/BS installed, full operating temp, 55 mph, 5th gear, TC locked, rolled into throttle to merge w/traffic on highway, Wheeeeee...BAM! all of a sudden I'm in 4th gear at 3000RPM, CEL, turns on. I pull over, shut truck off, restart and go on my way no problem, shifts out and TC locks, CEL still on. Limp, huh?
Getting codes scanned today. Tranny fund started.
